Healthcare & Biotech
The constraint is not the feature list. It is that the data describes real people, and the rules about it are not negotiable.
What we build here
- HIPAA-ready applications where access control is modelled before the first screen is drawn
- Clinical data pipelines with provenance kept intact end to end
- Patient-facing experiences that stay usable for people who are unwell, distracted, or frightened
Where it usually goes wrong
Compliance treated as a checklist at the end. By then the data model has already made the wrong thing easy — identifiers copied into places they should never have reached, and a retention policy that cannot be applied because nothing recorded when a record was created or why.
How we approach it
Retention and access are decided before collection begins, because the schedule for deleting a document has to exist before the first document arrives. That is a decision, not a task, and it belongs at the start.
